Having FUN

Last week we had Maple Mountain High School Football players come to read to our class.  They read to us some facts about Dogs.  Last week we read Henry and Mudge, a story about a boy getting his first dog.

In this story the Henry wanted a dog because he had no friends that lived on his street. He also had no brothers or sisters.  He asked his parents, then they looked at their house, their street and each other and then said Yes.

As a second grade we planned and performed gymnastic routines.  We had lots of fun!  We did Olympic games in the Park with the entire second grade.

In math we learned about adding with touch points.  It helped us a lot!  It just another way to add big numbers!

This week we are learning about families and cousins.  Everyone will need to bring a picture of cousins and family by Friday to share for an activity.

WE are loving Second Grade!!!
