Lots of FUN and CRAZY stuff in our classroom. Besides all the amazing math and reading we have done this last year, we have also enjoyed social studies and science. We have been studying weather around the world and comparing it to our very own Mapleton Weather. We enjoyed learning about Martin Luther King and singing and learning about our past Presidents.
This past month we said good bye to our high school intern Miss Nicole Padgett, who is going off to Utah State to become an educator.
We have an AMAZING CLASS!!!! And have been working hard to get ready for 3rd Grade. We have been doing double digit subtraction and addition with regrouping and are vastly improving on our reading levels...
We had a fund Fairy Tale Reward Party where we did Hey diddle diddle
plays, Puppetry skills, cleaning like Cinderella and making our own bow
and arrows with pixie dust. We even made our own Three Little Pigs.
WOW! The Valentine Fairy visited our room and left us all donut
holes...YUM! and we designed and made a Valentine Paper Quilt. It is
now hanging up in the hallway for all to enjoy!
