We have had a busy week, Presidents Day, Valentines Day, Bus Safety and Much More...This past week we learned to do double digit subtraction with regrouping and are continuing to practice this skill.  We want to become experts on this before we jump into 3rd grade.  We also learned how multiplication works (repeated addition) as well as discovered, or should we say "uncovered" what a prime number is.  DON'T tell those 6th graders we are doing their math in 2nd grade.

In the weeks to follow we will become better writers and learn to write a story using a problem and a solution.  We NEED to remember to keep reading at home and read aloud our take home library books to as many people as possible.  HAVE a GREAT WEEK!
